Our new favourite game
This week we have been learning about angles and how to use a protractor.
After some hestitation on Tuesday, we have now realised that angles aren't so bad and we are now starting to get the hang of them.
Here is a game that we really enjoyed today.
Banana Hunt
Olivia H was the first person to guess the angle correctly. She scored 10 banana points.
How many bananas can you score?

Our clever class award winners
Apologies for the lack of posts lately, we have been very busy in 5 Maroon.
Congratulations to our award winners for this term.
Week 1:
Molly received the Principal's award for "just being beautiful". Class award went to Azure, Sammii and Samuel for 'contributions to classroom discussions', 'a confident and mature start to St Paul's' and 'his sense of humour'. Brock received a library award and Dylan was the Student of the Week for being responsible and reliable.
Week 2:
Skye was Student of the Week. Jacob, Liam and Timothy received class awards. Chloe received the Principal's award.
Week 3:
Our class award receipients were Lewis 'enthusiastic contributions to classroom discussions', Charli 'great responses in PDHPE activities' and Chloe 'always willing to give things her best shot'.
Our Student of the Week was absent, hopefully she will receive hers next week!
Unfortunately we have had many children away this week due to illness. To the children who are still away, we hope you are feeling better soon. We miss you!
Love Miss Mead and 5 Maroon x
